And now is the week with the other side of the family, now in the greenish countryside. Greenish, because temperatures are 10c above the season average..
It had not necessarily started well, with an hectic combo of buses and trains, 3/4 of them with delays or issues or.. but reached the countryside safely, to do some shopping ahead of the rest of the family coming in.
And we did manage to enjoy .. stargazing ofc, walking around for wildflowers bouquets, playing mtg ofc, catching crayfish, hosting in-laws for a lazy lunch/afternoon, going to the farm and letting the kids roam around, enjoying the Loire on a canoe (but with some extra rain of course)! Little progress on the books though, but that is a fair trade.
Next week, back to Paris, will be tough.
